An American client got in touch to ask Fox & Squirrel to devise a four-day itinerary for himself, his wife and two daughters. We organised four days of excursions, tours, theatre visits and meals taking into consideration their needs and ensuring their visit was streamlined and effortless.
“We are a family of four. Two daughters who are 10 and 13 and Fox & Squirrel coordinated a memorable and excellent trip to London between Christmas and New Years. We could not have covered as much ground without them and coordination was seamless! I highly recommend Fox & Squirrel and would use them again and again. We are from San Francisco and really valued the “local” knowledge and advice!”
Camden Town Unlimited, the Business Improvement District for the area, contacted Fox & Squirrel with the aim of devising walks for their revival of the Camden Festival. Our brief was to draw emphasis away from the Lock and bring to life the fantastic availability of foods available for lunchtimes down Camden High Street.
The New Craftsmen, a collective dedicated to promotion of finest of Britain’s craft makers, represents a network of over 75 makers working in textiles, silverware, furniture, ceramics, jewellery, glassware and beyond. Fox & Squirrel were asked to design walks that centred on Mayfair, where The New Craftsmen’s shop is located. TNC requested walks specifically for the makers they represent, to give them history and context for the art of craft in Mayfair, an area usually associated with high-end fashion and private investment firms. F&S were commissioned to use Mayfair as conduit for inspiration for the craftsmen to create pieces for the upcoming London Design Festival.
The result were eight designers, with skills from embroidery to letterpress, creating designs and pieces that successfully represented the place that craft represents in Mayfair and in turn, TNC place as a destination for the best craftsmanship in London.
